Sebelumnya KH Said Asrori juga pernah diamanahi sebagai Ketua Pengurus Cabang Nahdlatul Ulama (PCNU) Kabupaten Magelang. Ia merupakan putra dari KH Asrori Ahmad (1923-1994). Saat ini, kiai yang menamatkan studinya di Pondok Pesantren Roudlotul Ulum, Kencong, Kepung, Kediri, PP. An-Nawawi Berjan Purworejo, PP. Roudlotut Tholibin, Rembang itu melanjutkan ayahnya dalam mengasuh Pondok Pesantren Raudhatut Thullab, Wonosari, Tempuran, Magelang, Jawa Tengah.

.Katib Aam PBNU KH. Ahmad Said Asrori. "Penulisan atau turots itu tidak harus berbahasa Arab, saya pikir," ungkap Katib Aam PBNU KH. Ahmad Said Asrori dalam acara bedah kitab di Hotel Sultan, Jakarta beberapa waktu lalu 7/2/2022. Turots, menurut Kiai Said Asrori, juga termasuk karya-karya terjemahan atas kitab-kitab bahasa Arab dalam bahasa Jawa termasuk juga Madura, Sunda dan bahasa Nusantara lainnya. Kitab tersebut biasanya dicetak dengan makna gandul dari kata perkata. Lengkap dengan tanda i’rabnya yang khas Nusantara. Seperti "mubtada" yang ditandai dengan "utawi", ataupun "khabar" yang ditandai dengan lafaz "iku". Apa yang diungkapkan oleh Kiai Said Asrori tersebut, memang benar adanya. Karya-karya terjemahan model demikian tak ubahnya karya-karya pinggiran. Jika mau jujur, nyaris tak mendapat perhatian yang signifikan dari para intelektual muslim Indonesia, bahkan yang berlatar belakang pesantren sekalipun. Signifikasi Karya Kitab Terjemahan Membaca ataupun mengkaji karya terjemahan yang demikian itu, seolah mengurangi kadar intelektualitas seorang cendekiawan. Menandakan penguasaan bahasa Arab yang lemah saat membaca karya-karya demikian. Namun, jika hendak berpikir lebih jauh, karya-karya yang dianggap pinggiran ini, memiliki signifikansi tersendiri. Setidaknya ada tiga hal yang bisa dikemukakan dalam tulisan ini. Pertama, diakui atau tidak, karya-karya inilah yang menyentuh kalangan pembaca yang amat luas. Selain di kalangan pesantren sendiri biasanya untuk bacaan bagi santri pemula atau sebagai muqabalah/ pembanding, juga dibaca luas di masyarakat. Seperti di pengajian-pengajian kecil di musala, surau, majelis taklim dan sejenisnya. Atau kalangan santri mustami' yang hanya sebatas mampu membaca huruf Arab dan Pegon belaka. Baca juga Kitab “Tasripan” dan Potret Pesantren di Tatar Sunda Akhir Abad 19 Tidak ada statistik yang mengungkap seberapa besar pengakses bacaan demikian. Namun, menurut keterangan dari pemilik Toko Kitab Salim Nabhan Surabaya saat saya wawancara pada 2021 lalu, setiap tahunnya ada puluhan ribu eksemplar yang ia jual. "Per judul, sekali cetak minimal sepuluh ribu. Rata-rata satu tahun sudah habis," ungkapnya. Dari jumlah ini, bisa dibayangkan signifikansi karya-karya terjemahan tersebut, dalam membentuk pemahaman keagamaan masyarakat Indonesia. Semakin luas pembacanya, tentu saja, semakin kuat pula pengaruhnya, bukan? Signifikansi kedua, tentu saja, karya-karya tersebut adalah rekaman sanad intelektual yang komprehensif. Sebagaimana diketahui, sanad tidak hanya sebatas si A belajar kepada si B. Namun, apa yang dipelajari dari si A ke si B itu sendirilah yang menjadi penting. Seandainya si A belajar kitab Fathul Mu'in kepada si B, maka sanad tersebut merangkum cara pembacaan, pemaknaan, penjelasan dan ihwal lainnya dari kitab tersebut yang ditransfer kepada si A. Dalam proses tersebut, yang kadang membutuhkan waktu lama, tak sedikit ada yang terlewat. Semisal, satu dua kata yang tak sempat termaknai. Atau ada satu dua kalimat yang terlewatkan pemahamannya. Tentu saja, kealpaan demikian dapat ditoleransi, apalagi si santri telah memiliki basis ilmu nahwu yang baik. Sehingga bisa membacanya sendiri. Namun, hasil pembacaan tersebut, apakah dijamin akan sama dengan apa yang sang guru ajarkan? Tak mesti. Di sinilah, karya-karya terjemahan dari para kiai-kiai kita ini, akan memberikan sanad pembacaan suatu kitab dengan seksama. Sedangkan signifikansi ketiga dari karya-karya tersebut adalah potret dari laku intelektual para kiai kita. Diakui atau tidak, karya-karya tersebut akan menjadi jejak kekaryaan yang tak bisa disepelekan. Bagaimanapun karya tersebut menjadi bagian yang tak terpisahkan dari biografi para kiai kita. Merawat Warisan Intelektual Ulama Nusantara Jika kita mengabaikan karya-karya terjemahan seperti ini, tentu saja kita akan kehilangan tambang emas intelektualisme para ulama Nusantara. Jangan sampai nantinya, ketika abai mengkompilasikan sedini mungkin, kelak kita akan terseok-seok mencarinya kembali. Potret hari ini menggambarkan hal tersebut. Bagaimana saat kita menelusuri karya-karya ulama Nusantara pada abad 19 hingga paruh pertama abad 20, begitu kesulitan. Bagai mengais jarum di tumpukan jerami. Berbeda misalnya dengan Martin Van Bruinessen, indonesianis asal Belanda itu, cukup mendatangi Perpustakaan KTLV Leiden saat meriset tentang kitab kuning di Indonesia. Di sana, para orientalis pendahulunya, LWC Van den Berg, rajin mengumpulkan berbagai kitab yang dikumpulkan dari pesantren-pesantren pada pertengahan abad 19. Pada periode mutakhir, hal serupa dengan Berg juga dilakukan oleh Sophia University. Kampus di Jepang ini, pada 2006, mengumpulkan sejumlah kitab cetak yang ditulis atau diterjemahkan oleh ulama di Asia Tenggara, kitab yang dicetak di Asia Tenggara dan kitab yang ditulis, diterjemah, atau disyarah oleh ulama Non-Asia Tenggara namun dicetak di Asia Tenggara. Hasil pengumpulan tersebut kemudian diteliti dan diterbitkan menjadi katalog berjudul "A Provisional Catalogue of Southeast Asian Kitabs of Sophia University" pada 2015. Tak kurang dari 1817 judul kitab yang berhasil didata. Baca juga Kyai Sahal Mahfudz, Kitab Anwar Al-Bashair dan Tradisi Literasi Pesantren Dari praktek ini, memantik keprihatinan penulis. Bagaimana mungkin orang Jepang demikian tergerak untuk mengumpulkan kekayaan intelektual ulama Nusantara, sedangkan kita masih acuh tak acuh. Akankah anak cucu kita, lima puluh tahun lagi, harus ke Jepang hanya untuk membaca karya-karya ulama kita dewasa ini, Sebagaimana kita harus melawat ke Leiden hanya untuk menelusuri karya-karya ulama terdahulu? Dari sinilah, penulis mulai mengumpulkan terbitan-terbitan sejenis. Saya mendatangi sejumlah toko kitab. Seperti toko kitab 65 di Pasar Rogojampi, Banyuwangi, Toko Kitab Salim Nabhan di Surabaya dan terakhir di Toko Kitab Menara Kudus di Yogyakarta. Alhamdulillah, sudah ada puluhan judul yang bisa penulis kumpulkan. Tak seberapa memang. Tapi, penulis optimis, seiring waktu, koleksi ini akan terus membesar. Dari puluhan koleksi tersebut, setelah penulis amati, ternyata ada sejumlah karya dari Kiai Ahmad Said Asrori. Di antaranya adalah terjemah bahasa Jawa dari Kitab Kifayatul Atkiya' Al-Miftah, Surabaya. Selain itu, juga ada kumpulan khutbah Jum'at berjudul As-Sa'diyah Al-Miftah, Surabaya. Karya-karya Kiai Said Asrori ini ternyata melanjutkan kiprah para pinisepuhnya. Di antaranya sang ayahanda sendiri; KH. Asrori Ahmad, Tempuran, Magelang. Nama terakhir ini, konon juga banyak melakukan penerjemahan atas kitab-kitab berbahasa Arab ke bahasa Jawa. Produktifitasnya, menurut Kiai Said, setara dengan KH. Bisri Musthofa dan KH. Misbah Mustafa. "Tiga ini tidak ada tandingannya dalam menerjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Jawa Kutubul Qadimah," ujar Kiai Said Asrori. Beberapa judul karya Kiai Asrori Ahmad yang berhasil penulis kumpulkan dan kini menjadi koleksi Komunitas Pegon adalah Irsyadul Ibad Menara Kudus, Riyadus Sholihin Menara Kudus, dan Risalatul Muawanah Menara Kudus. Sidang pembaca yang terhormat, adakah yang juga memiliki kecenderungan untuk mengkoleksi kitab-kitab yang sama? Yuk sharing koleksi. Artikel pertama kali dimuat di Alif.

Significado do Nome Said Said Significa “feliz”, “sortudo”. Said é um nome de origem árabe, predominantemente masculino, que significa “feliz”, “sortudo”. Trata-se de um nome muito bonito. Curto, carrega um significado bastante rico, que reflete satisfação plena, contentamento, êxito.
